"Augmented Lakes": digital art for a weekend in the mountains – Treviso

Treviso – Fantastic creatures emerge from the surface of the water, against the backdrop of the enchanted landscape of the Venetian Prealps: it is the spectacle that will surprise the public of Augmented Lakes the innovative artistic itinerary that will combine nature and technology with Revine Lago from Sunday 22nd July.

Exploiting the potential of augmented reality, five site specific installations will transform the views of the Treviso mountains into sets for suggestive escapes in the world of imagination.
How? Just a smartphone: framing the panels distributed along the route, visitors will activate the animations created by a team of 26 artists inspired by the nature of the place. Illustrators, 3D artists, videomakers and animation designers have created five digital art works and as many parallel universes for guests who will visit Revine at the Lago Film Fest (20-28 July).

The first of its kind, the project Laghi Aumentati was developed by Bepart, the startup that with the help of technology has opened fantastic passages in the urban settings of Milan and not only , just think of the MAUA, a widespread street art museum based on augmented reality.

The unusual nature trail will debut on Sunday 22nd July at the opening of the 14th Lago Film Fest. Guests will be offered the opportunity to participate in an interactive tour in the company of the authors and meetings with the various professionals involved in the project, to discover all the secrets of the works on display in the Lakes Park.
